Farxiga, brand name of the drug dapagliflozin is prescribed to lower the blood sugar levels in adults. It is used to treat the type 2 diabetes and is never used for type-1 diabetes. It is an oral medication which works by assisting the kidneys in absorbing more glucose from the body. There are some serious side effects linked with the medication.
